Donations Management & Food Services:

How to run and operate a HUB (Hope Utility Base) or POD (Point of Distribution) that can serve local and rural communities and Food Services when needed.

Volunteers Responding to the Camp Fire

To operate a distribution site or HUB that is effective, your organization must know

  1. What are the NEEDS of survivors.

  2. What other services are provided by local, state and VOAD Partners.

  3. What are local city, county, state and federal agencies needing to meet the many different needs of survivors.

We believe that crisis, trauma and disaster response is like a 1,000 piece puzzle and what each person or organization provides is just one piece SO we must network with other organizations and have a team of skilled and trained volunteers and professionals to be effective.
