Volunteers Responding to the Camp Fire

To be effective in working with survivors, we need to develop teams of care givers trained in grief and trauma recovery that have different skills.

We believe that crisis, trauma and disaster response is like a 1,000 piece puzzle and what each person or organization provides is just one piece SO we must have a team of skilled and trained volunteers and professionals to be effective.

VOAD is Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster - you will find groups like American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Samaritans Purse and other volunteer organizations you can connect with to help meet the specific needs of the survivors that you are serving.
